What a lovely reflection! We are thrilled you had the opportunity to share your expertise with our future healthcare leaders and are inspired by how curious and forward-thinking these students are. Thank you for being such an engaging physician and contributing to our future colleagues' growth and development. Your passion genuinely makes a difference!
Today took me down memory lane a bit... I was honored to participate on a panel for our 1st year medical students as part of the Introduction to US Healthcare Course, along with my colleagues Drs. Marko Rojnica and David Chestek The students were so engaged and asked very thoughtful questions on topics such as Value Based Care, AI in Healthcare, Physician shortages and unionization, to our thoughts on concierge medicine - just to name a few. Topics and questions that were no where on my radar when I was 1st year medical student. The session made me reflective on my journey in healthcare - where we have seen a movement away from private practice to employed physicians and large physician groups, the evolution from paper charts and prescriptions to EMR and e-scripts, hands- on care to tele - health. And left me curious about what is around the corner, wondering what questions will they be answering or predictions will they make, when they are the panelists and I am retired :-). What do you think will be the next disruptor in healthcare? Please share your comments below: #ushealthcare #AIinhealthcare #Valuebasedcare #businessofmedicine #disruptors
