Yesterday, DPUSA—New York city director, Mel Reyes, represented Depaul USA at the St. John's University Vincentian Convocation. Joined with her was Mark McGreevy, Depaul Group CEO. While connecting with other Vincentians, faculty, and alumni, Mark McGreevy received the International Medal for his leadership in the Group and work of the Famvin Homeless Alliance and its 13 Houses campaign—providing housing to individuals all around the world. Congratulations to Mark McGreevy. What a great way to begin the Feast Day. Depaul International

Happy Feast of St. Vincent de Paul day! Today, we reflect on the Vincentian values that we instill in our work on a daily basis when serving others. This week's theme was celebrating the potential of people. As an international organization, we hope to continue practicing and teaching the principle of not judging others and instead seeing the potential they hold.

Last Friday, Depaul USA—Los Angeles wrapped up its Fall 2024 event season with its golf tournament fundraiser. The event was a complete success, attended by many of the program's supporters, sponsors, family, and friends. In support of Casa Milagrosa and the—almost year old—Dax house, Los Angeles raised $30,000. Thank you to everyone who attended either of the two events this year, and for the steadfast support behind Depaul USA—Los Angeles.

Inspired by her experience as NYC's city director and as a member of the current cohort of The Vincentian mission certification program at St. John's University, Mel Reyes shared what she believes to be some of the most important lessons of St. Vincent's work and how she translates this into her work with the NYC Dax program.

Congratulations to Depaul Ireland on this tremendous accomplishment!
I'm delighted to share that Depaul Ireland has been awarded a $500,000 grant from the Citi Foundation as part of the 2024 Global #InnovationChallenge. The grant will fund a new programme for marginalised individuals and families with complex needs such as addiction, mental health or behavioural issues. The landscape of homelessness is evolving and we are witnessing a mental health crisis facing those who are experiencing homelessness. This partnership is vital and Citi is proud to support Depaul Ireland in their efforts to address homelessness. We look forward to working with David Carroll and team on this.
