What would you rank as the top value in your job satisfaction? A study of DermPAs™ in Pennsylvania revealed a significant correlation between PAs who ranked job autonomy as the top value in their job satisfaction and—interestingly—high compensation! Job autonomy is defined as freedom, independence, and discretion in their work. This research also suggests that job autonomy may contribute to increased productivity, which then leads to higher compensation. PAs who have high job autonomy have the flexibility and independence to manage their schedules more effectively, potentially resulting in seeing more patients and achieving greater earnings. A huge congratulations to Carly Dobbie, MSN, APRN, AGNP-BC, on her completion of SDPA's Diplomate Fellowship program. She is the first affiliate member and nurse practitioner to complete the program! Earlier this year, we opened the Diplomate Fellowship to ALL members, regardless of member type. This is an effort towards improving patient outcomes for all member practitioners, because we recognize that superior education for the entire practice team translates into superior patient care. If you are an Associate, Affiliate, Student, or Physician member and would like to enroll in the Diplomate program, visit https://lnkd.in/dcqrwQa4! #SDPA #Diplomate #CME
