Specializing in Sign Language Interpreting and Captioning for Deaf Healthcare Professionals
About us
Our agency is designed specifically to meet the needs of unique clients in the medical field. We use a customizable approach to services using traditional accommodations such as sign language interpreters and Captioners, in a non-traditional way. We listened to the needs of our clients and created a systematic methodology based on hearing loss, language preferences, medical and healthcare specialties, and resources. We also work closely with each medical institution to ensure that students and employees receive the services and training required to create successful patient care outcomes. Our accommodation providers are recruited both locally and nationally, and serve a network that guarantees coverage in the most demanding medical settings. We negotiate the best rates with all providers, ensure customer satisfaction, and eliminate extra costs common to other referral agencies. It is our belief that this model positively impacts the student and healthcare professional in the competitive healthcare industry.

It's almost time! Join me and the Docs With Disabilities Initiative, Brian Hemstreet, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS, Sarah Triano, MS, NCC, LPC, Michelle Laughlin, and Kruti Shah for this informative webinar on 21st century #TechnicalStandards for #PharmacyEducation. We'll be weaving in the person experiences of Dr. Kruti Shah and her "why", the dangers of #ableist thinking, and how YOU can create a more inclusive environment. Dr. Brian Hemstreet, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS will discuss how University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus took on a full review of Technical Standards and will share his lessons learned. Finally, we'll conclude with best practice advice from two #DisabilityResourceProfessionals Michelle Laughlin and Sarah Triano, MS, NCC, LPC who will share the importance of messaging and creating a sense of belonging for pharmacy students with disabilities. Captions provided by Designated Interpreters LLC and I'll be moderating this incredible group. Special thanks to the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP)for supporting this important topic and their members through this training. Registration still open: https://lnkd.in/gViaWcBn. #PharmacistsWithDisabilities
