Join us in congratulating Corey Black, an Associate and Project Manager in our Columbus office, on officially becoming a licensed architect! After spending seven years in our Cincinnati office, where he made a significant impact on multifamily residential projects like The Alto and One41 Wellington, Corey transitioned to Columbus, continuing his impressive work on major developments such as Arlington Gateway and Truepointe. In addition to project management, Corey leads our internal MA Revit Committee, advancing our team's architectural capabilities. When asked about his journey to licensure, Corey shared that balancing it all with family life was challenging but finding dedicated study time helped him stay focused. His advice to aspiring architects is simple: tackle the process early, stay focused on your goal, and take it one step at a time. Congratulations, Corey!

We always love revisiting the White Castle Home Office project! Walking into the lobby, visitors experience Craver culture at its finest with bold experiential elements nodding to the rich White Castle history and brand. The design removes traditional office barriers with an open seating concept, creating an environment where communication and collaboration thrive. From modular walls for easy reconfiguration to a variety of communal spaces tailored for different workstyles, this office is built to adapt and evolve. The building features two full kitchens, the first serves employees, featuring a sit-down café. The second, a research & development kitchen; tests new concepts and provides space to present to potential vendors, sample products by current clients and a designated place for product cuttings. Explore the details and the lasting impact of this space on our website - https://loom.ly/ii2r1Ds

Thank you to everyone who joined the SMPS Greater Cincinnati hard hat tour of our Pleasant Ridge Mixed-Use project! We started with a project overview at Nine Giant before heading to the site to see the design features in action. Shout out to our fantastic tour guides: Sari Lehtinen, Peter Hilligoss, Mike Dooley with Bayer Becker and Scott Arentsen from Towne Properties. This tour wouldn't have been possible without Josh Rothstein at OnSite Retail Group! The Ridge is a five-story building designed to reflect the charm of older buildings in the area while offering modern conveniences like co-working spaces, a dog walk, and Electric Vehicle charging. The project is pursuing LEED Silver certification and will complete next Spring.
