Great British Nuclear (GBN) has now issued an Invitation to Negotiate to the four companies its Small Modular Reactor (SMR) selection process. After these negotiations are concluded, the companies will be invited to submit Final Tenders, which GBN will then evaluate. A final decision on which technologies to select will be taken in the spring. GBN will provide further updates in due course. The companies remaining in this process are GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy International LLC, Holtec Britain Ltd, Rolls Royce SMR Ltd, and Westinghouse Electric Company UK Ltd.
