  • Take a seat for creativity at the Tiffin Art Guild’s Painted Chair Auction! 🎨 This lively event will be held on November 8, 2024, at 7 PM at The Chandelier Community Event Center, located at 151 Washington Street in downtown Tiffin. Guests will enjoy an evening filled with heavy appetizers, a cash bar, a silent auction featuring original artwork and items donated by local businesses, a live auction of uniquely painted chairs crafted by local artists, and a 50/50 raffle. Admission is $30 and includes appetizers and a drink ticket. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Tiffin Art Guild, helping to foster creativity, provide education, and offer a space for members to display and sell their work. Funds raised will go toward enhancing art programs, expanding educational opportunities, and showcasing the incredible artistic talent in Tiffin. The Painted Chair Auction is a chance to support local artists, explore creative expression, and experience an evening of artistic inspiration, all while giving back to the community.   • In Case You Missed It... The streets were lined, costumes adorned, and candy bags full at the 2024 Seneca County Halloween Parade, sponsored by Brian Bower - loanDepot! A special thank you to Ed & Melissa Molyet with Molyet's Farm Market & Garden Center for serving as our Grand Marshals and for their dedication to our community over the years. It was a spook-tacular time for all involved and we are so grateful to everyone who participated, attended, and helped make this parade a success! Make sure to sign up for the last parade of 2024, the Tiffin Kiwanis Club's Christmas parade. The Christmas parade will take place on December 7 at 7:30pm through Downtown Tiffin. New this year includes the addition of hay rides around the grounds provided by the Seneca County Fair, vendor photos, and a festive fall photo backdrop for you and your family to get a picture so you never forget this day of FUN!   • Get ready for some spooktacular fun! 👻 The 2024 Seneca County Halloween Parade, sponsored by Brian Bower – loanDepot, is creeping up fast. Join us this Saturday, October 26, at 10 AM in downtown Tiffin! With nearly 100 different groups signed up, this year’s parade will be one of the largest in years. Bring those bags to catch some sweet treats and feel free to wear your costumes to show off! The parade will feature Ed and Melissa Molyet of Molyet's Farm Market & Garden Center as our Grand Marshals! Molyet’s Farm Market, established in 1958 by Paul and Eula Mae Molyet, has been a cherished part of our community for over 60 years. Ed and Melissa continue the family tradition, offering high-quality products and exceptional service to Seneca County. The parade will kick off at St. Joseph Catholic Church on South Washington Street and travel to the Riverside Drive intersection. Don’t miss this fun-filled community tradition!
