Since 1986, Destiny African Market & Variety Store in Randolph, MA, has been a cornerstone for sharing authentic African cuisine in the U.S. Founded by Sola Ajao and managed by her daughter, Adebukola Ajao, this family-owned business relies on digital ads to introduce their "love language"—food—to new audiences. However, proposed legislation like the American Privacy Rights Act (APRA) could reduce the effectiveness of these tools. As Adebukola shared, "Destiny African Market is my mom's dream come true, and I don't want anyone, especially Congress, to hold her back."
