All parties involved in the supply chain from Farmer to Retailer, need to establish robust systems for recording information related to food safety procedures, including receiving, storage, handling and transportation. This documentation should be organized, easily accessible and maintained regularly. Implementing digital record-keeping systems can streamline this process, allowing for efficient tracking and retrieval of information in the event of an audit or inspection. Organized quality harvesting increases fruit quality, connecting the packhouse and the Gamma irradiation process with USDA certification and exporting to Australia, Canada, and the USA.
