Since 1995, Denali Family Services (DFS) has been providing high-quality behavioral health services to Alaska’s youth and their families. Last month, DFS welcomed JJ Harrier to the team as Director of Development and Communications! JJ has been active in nonprofit work for more than 25 years throughout Alaska and has a passion for helping organizations grow and thrive. He was raised in Girdwood and graduated from UAA with a background is in public communications, marketing and fund development. His previous leadership roles were at the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce, GCI Communication Corp., Identity Alaska, and Alaska Addiction Rehabilitation Services, Inc.. JJ began his development career while volunteering for Anchorage Pride in 2012, recruiting community support and event sponsorships. He loves biking the Moose Loop and relaxing at his cabin in Hope each month with his husband Josh and corgi Dobby. Welcome aboard, JJ!
