Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital hosted the Kaua‘i Healthy Living Fall Celebration for our Waimea community to learn about all the great resources they have access to. Our Microbiology Lab is the only clinical laboratory in Hawai’i with the WASPLab, a highly advanced specimen processor. Our Core Lab features a chemistry automation line that is the largest of its kind in the state. It also utilizes mobile robots that efficiently deliver samples between processing stations. We know that when it comes to the wide variety of lab tests we perform, quick, accurate results and analyses improve health and save lives. We held a special pikai ceremony at the new Diagnostic Laboratory Services' (DLS) patient service center at Kona Community Hospital (KCH). Mahalo to KCH CEO Clayton McGhan and his leadership team for joining DLS President Mark Wasielewski and team at this blessing. This site is open Monday through Friday, 6 AM – 3 PM (closed for lunch 11 AM – 12 PM).
