Never forget. Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. It’s a day etched into our collective memory that brought immense sorrow and showcased our nation's remarkable strength and resilience. As we reflect on the events of that fateful day, let’s also recognize the heroism of first responders, the sacrifices of countless individuals, and the unity that emerged in the aftermath. Their courage and selflessness remain a powerful reminder of the strength found in community and compassion. In remembrance, let’s continue supporting one another, cherish our freedoms, and strive to improve the world. Trauma-informed design is often applied in healthcare settings, schools, social service agencies, and other environments where people may be particularly vulnerable. The goal is to create spaces that support healing and recovery, while reducing the risk of re-traumatization.
