Here are some exciting project stats: 🏗️ 2,300 cubic yards of concrete 💪 740 tons of steel 🪟 410 panes of glass 🪨 10,495 square feet of stone 🧱 2,565 bricks 👷♂️ Roughly 115 crew members on site Additionally, construction of our 5-story parking garage has officially begun! Last week, we swapped hard hats for baseball caps and enjoyed a great evening at the ballpark. ⚾️ #DiGCo team members and their families came together for a company picnic at Progressive Field, cheering on the Cleveland Guardians to an exciting 8-10 victory against the Pittsburgh Pirates in the Paul Davis Pennant District. Exciting development news Valor Acres! 🏨✨ DiGeronimo Companies, Crawford Hoying, and Shaner Hotels Group are partnering to bring a luxurious AC Hotel by Marriott to the heart of Valor Acres! This 136-room AC Hotel will offer upscale amenities including a rooftop bar, fitness center, and stylish meeting spaces. Slated to begin construction early next year and open by late 2026, the hotel will enhance the vibrant Valor Acres community, conveniently located near major airports and future landmarks. Over three days, #TeamIC volunteers partnered with The City Mission to prepare and gather back-to-school supplies for the children at Laura’s Home Women's Crisis Center. Despite last week’s severe storm causing some delays, the kids received their supplies just in time for school, along with treats like snow cones and popcorn. The celebration also included activities like face painting, arts, and crafts, bringing smiles and joy to everyone involved. This past weekend, some of our very own DiGeronimo Companies team members participated in the AIA Cleveland Sandfest volleyball tournament! For the second consecutive year, Team DiGeronimo Companies gave their all on the sandy courts of Edgewater Beach, showcasing their strong team spirit. Despite a morning downpour, the day turned into a sunny, fun-filled event filled with friendly competition, laughter, and a strong sense of community. Additionally, we want to thank AIA Cleveland for hosting this event, which highlights the crucial role architects play in our society and raises funds for their ACE Mentor Program. We are proud to have provided the sand for this event. Happy National Intern Day! 🙌 Check out the highlights from our 7th annual co-op service project! 🎥✨ Since May, our summer co-ops have worked diligently to support OhioGuidestone, a leader in community behavioral health care in Ohio. Each co-op was placed in a role based on their career interests including accounting, estimating, safety, project management, and field. The scope of work for this years' project included: 🌿 Clearing and landscaping the trail 🔔 Installing amenities like wind chimes and a slide 🛠️ Enhancing safety with a rope connection and railroad ties 🌼 Creating a sensory garden and adding railings along a steep hill We’re incredibly proud of our co-ops' hard work in serving the community.
