Tru-Tek started their bore at about 9:15am CT this morning. They did an unbelievable job, completing their shot in 35 minutes. Woody reported hitting rock about three quarters of the way through, but they still managed to hit the target, so no time penalties there. According to the rules, there are a few underground waypoints the team also needed to hit. For each inch a team is off, three minutes are added to their final runtime. We’re confident in Tru-Tek’s ability to hit the mark. Watching Ivan, Gordy, and Woody work together was a privilege.
