I've been on a roll sharing fun 404 pages I’ve worked on, and here's the third one in my series! This time, it's for Happy Valley Alpaca Ranch. Instead of the typical "Page Not Found" message, this 404 page features a cute alpaca looking right at you with a humorous expression. The copy reads: "Oh hay! That webpage seems to have gone away. Why don't you try the homepage? (It's got that fresh hay smell.)" 🦙🌾 I had the joy of redesigning their website, thanks to the beautiful photography I had to work with. This adorable alpaca set the perfect mood for their 404 page. The adorable photo captured by Cindy Kern (You can find her at CindyMariePhoto.com and FoundLightMedia.com) I love bringing a smile to every corner of a website, even the error pages. After all, who says error pages can't be fun and engaging? Check out the screenshot and let me know what you think! Have you seen any amusing 404 pages lately? Share them with me below! ⬇️

The text on the page reads: "Oh hay! That webpage seems to have gone away. Why don't you try the homepage? (It's got that fresh hay smell.)" A button below the text says "VISIT OUR HOMEPAGE."

Here's another fun 404 page I designed, this time for a book author whose latest work details her transformative time in Nepal. This is the second post in a series of three showcasing creative 404 pages. Instead of the usual boring "Page Not Found" message, this 404 page features a curious yak looking right at you with majestic, snow-capped mountains in the background. The copy reads: "It seems you've lost your way... Try heading back to base camp. TAKE ME HOME." I love adding fun elements like this to a website. Who says error pages can't be delightful? The page features a close-up image of a curious yak standing in front of snow-capped mountains with a clear blue sky. The text on the page reads: "It seems you've lost your way... Try heading back to base camp." A yellow button below the text says "TAKE ME HOME."

I’ve been having fun designing 404 pages that bring a smile to your face. Here’s one I created for a client who just got published in a new book. Instead of the usual boring "Page Not Found" message, this 404 page gently guides you back to the beginning with a playful touch. I love creating little moments of joy on a website. After all, who says error pages can't be delightful? Check out the screenshot and let me know what you think! Have you seen any fun 404 pages lately? Share them with me below! ⬇

    • A website 404 error page showing a cat sleeping next to an open book. The text on the page reads: "Whoops! You turned to the wrong page! Why don’t you go back to the beginning (or maybe take a nap if you are feeling sleepy)?"
