❗Did you hear about DATAcc by DiMe’s public launch event, “Transforming Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias Research: New Core Digital Clinical Measures”? 📅 On Thursday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. ET, we will unveil our new core measures and the accompanying resources for #Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) to help speed clinical trials, improve patient outcomes, and provide a more inclusive, patient-centered approach to ADRD research. ADRD is one of healthcare's most complex and growing challenges, with 95% of those affected also managing chronic #comorbidities. Over 16 million family members and friends are caregivers, facing immense burdens alongside strained #healthcare systems. Yet, research lacks diversity, particularly among Hispanic and non-white populations, leaving critical gaps in understanding how different communities experience and respond to treatments. Our measures reflect meaningful aspects of health as reported by dementia patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Join us to learn how you can incorporate these measures and resources into your work to: ▪️ Standardize digital measures across trials to enable more diverse patient recruitment and deliver faster, cost-effective results ▪️ Capture continuous data to empower clinicians with real-world patient insights, leading to more informed and timely decisions ▪️ Increase trial efficiency, reducing costs and ensuring trials are more representative to meet the specific needs of all communities 🔗 Register now: https://bit.ly/3Ul8LGY In the meantime, watch this video where our partners share why digital measures are key to transforming research and care in ADRD. • 🚨 New project alert! Children with rare diseases are in a race against time—95% of rare diseases lack approved treatments, and the average time to diagnosis is 4.8 years, with 30% of children passing away before their 5th birthday. This reality must change. DATAcc by DiMe’s newest project will bring industry leaders, advocacy groups, researchers, and developers across medicine, #tech, pharma, and regulatory environments together to develop a core set of digital measures for #pediatric rare disease that will help you to: ▪️ Use digital #endpoints proven to speed drug delivery and reduce risk ▪️ Streamline the development of digital health technologies designed for pediatric patients ▪️ Decentralize trials with high-quality data collection to ensure lifesaving therapies are delivered to children when they need it With the FDA issuing final guidance on digital measures in December 2023 and qualifying the first digital endpoint in May 2024, now is the time to build a unified core digital measures set for pediatric rare disease. Your expertise and insights will be instrumental as we chart a new course and build tools that bring high-impact, digital solutions to pediatric rare disease clinical trials. 💬 Share your interest in joining the project here: https://bit.ly/3NagKmk

  • 📢 NEW resources alert! 📅 Join us on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. ET for the public launch event, “Transforming Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias Research: New Core Digital Clinical Measures,” where DATAcc by DiMe will unveil the new Core Measures of ADRD and accompanying resources! 🧠 Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (ADRD) cases are rising globally, with care costs soaring and the burden of care becoming more complex. Chronic comorbidities affect 95% of individuals with ADRD, and over 16 million family and friends are relied on as caregivers, carrying the emotional and #financial weight. This leaves gaps in understanding how different populations experience #ADRD and respond to treatments. DATAcc’s new unified core measures for ADRD are specifically designed to fill critical research gaps, prioritize the needs of patients and caregivers, and enhance understanding of diverse populations' experiences and responses to ADRD treatments. 💡 Join this event to learn about: ▪️ The new core set of ADRD measures reflecting independent meaningful aspects of health within the #dementia community ▪️Free resources you can use to quickly implement the measures into your research and care community ▪️Updates to DATAcc’s Library of Digital Measurement Products, the global, evidence-based resource for selecting digital health technologies (DHTs) to implement the core measures DATAcc’s globally accepted set of core ADRD measures will transform the development of #digital measures in ADRD, preventing siloed efforts that limit progress. By placing the patient voice at the heart of novel treatment development we will fuel progress in addressing the complexity of these diseases. 🚀 Join us and be among the first in the field to access the new resources.
