LEGAL ALERT| U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has introduced “E-Verify+,” a voluntary I-9 verification process designed to improve and streamline employer workflows. As Louisville based immigration attorneys Barbara Webb Menefee and Nathaniel Hall explain, this system is effectively a two-way version of E-Verify and is expected to reduce HR workload while providing a centralized location for forms and data, accessible by both employer and employee. As of November 4, 2024, more than 420 employers have adopted E-Verify+. https://lnkd.in/g-23rk-8

Several of our offices went head-to-head in a spirited Halloween contest, and the competition was intense! Our San Diego team paid tribute to the beloved West Coast burger restaurant, In-N-Out Burger, dressing in the iconic uniforms complete with black pants, white shirts, red aprons and paper hats. (Double-double, anyone?) Meanwhile, Houston turned up the nostalgia (and our appetites) as Sarah Smith, Ronnie Vanhoose and “Birdie” Griswold brought their favorite snacks to life as Little Debbie, Zebra Cake and Cosmic Brownie. And in Miami, our colleagues embraced their emotions—literally—by recreating the Inside Out movie poster. Who should take home the trophy? Let us know in the comments below!
