About us
In 2009, two neighbors got together over homemade chips, salsa and guacamole and decided to launch District Taco as a taco cart. Today, we operate multiple locations in Washington DC, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia. We’re on a mission to share the best of the Yucatán with every guest. We believe in bold flavors made with authentic recipes. Our food is prepared fresh daily in every restaurant from quality ingredients and made to order.

This weekend, we opened the doors of our newest restaurant to a warm welcome from the community of Wayne, New Jersey. We couldn’t have done it without all the amazing people who are a part of District Taco. But even more important than all the hard work is the heart that goes into this brand. Case in point, our Co-Founder and CEO, Osiris Hoil, took time on opening day to jump behind the line and give the brand new team a boost during their very first rush. ¡Órale!
