We are hiring a City Engineer/Director of Utilities to manage our engineering, water, wastewater and utility programs. The right person for this position will have a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (required) with major course work in civil engineering, supplemented by course work in management or a closely related field, a valid Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering issued by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers; seven (7) years of senior level engineering experience with a high degree of technical expertise, including professional level civil engineering experience involving the design and construction of engineering projects and new development services, as well as, administrative, management and staff supervision experience; and, a valid California Drivers License with satisfactory driving record.
