With the shock of the LA wildfires finally giving way to reality, Venbrook recently gathered its team of risk management advisors, together with residents impacted by the fires, for a night of learning and support as we begin the rebuilding efforts. The event was open to anyone starting the claims process or worried they weren’t doing it right. With a network of over 300 insurance carriers, our mission with this event was to connect residents with the best resources, no matter who their insurance carrier is. Joining us for the event was an expert panel of legal, insurance, and claims experts for an open conversation about all things insurance. We talked about many aspects of the insurance process and focused especially on how to engage with an insurance company, how to start the claims process, the risk of settling too quickly, and how to mitigate future risks to protect assets after the rebuilding process and beyond.
