About us
DocNow was designed by a physician who was frustrated with the inefficiencies of legacy Post-Acute Care systems. DocNow integrates seamlessly with existing facility EMRs , such as PointClickCare and MatrixCare, and enables medical professionals to see more patients, generate additional revenue per visit, and significantly reduce the time it takes to chart and complete other administrative tasks. By automating provider workflows around note generation and charge capture, practices can improve billing accuracy and compliance. Since launching in 2019, DocNow has established partnerships with approximately 2,000 long-term care facilities. DocNow services several specialties including Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Cardiology / Pulmonology, Behavioral Health (Psychiatry + Psychology), and Internal Medicine. For Wound Care providers, the company offers a mobile application

🔍 Providers spend an average of 4.5 hours a Day Charting! 🩺💻 A study highlighted on KevinMD (link below) reveals that physicians spend an average of 4.5 hours per day on Electronic Health Records (EHR)! This significant time commitment detracts from clinical focus and contributes to burnout. Despite the goal of streamlining care, EHR systems are often inefficient and unintuitive, reducing valuable time for direct patient care. Why EHR systems are inefficient: - Poor usability and unintuitive design 😬 - Excessive clinical alerts and distractions 😬 - Locked computer screens and repetitive sign-in requirements 😬 - High demands for billing and regulatory documentation 😬 - Inefficient navigation, leading to extra time spent on clerical tasks 😬 💡 But it doesn’t have to be this way! DocNow addresses all these challenges and more, helping our clients reclaim their time. What would you rather do if you were not charting? https://lnkd.in/gRxieCv7 #Healthcare #PhysicianBurnout #EHR #DigitalHealth #PatientCare #DocNow

🚀 Interesting article on how researchers have developed a new battery-powered electric bandage that could revolutionize the healing process for chronic wounds. 🩹💡 👩🔬 A recent study, published in *Science Advances*, shows that these innovative bandages helped wounds heal 30% faster compared to traditional dressings during animal testing. This cutting-edge technology, spearheaded by a team at North Carolina State University and Columbia University, integrates flexible electrodes and a water-activated battery to produce an electric field proven to accelerate healing. 💡 “Our goal was to develop an inexpensive technology that accelerates healing in patients with chronic wounds," says Bandodkar. #WoundCare #MedicalResearch https://lnkd.in/gJFcGjWt
