We have weathered the storm, and our dogs, people, and campus are fine. Our thoughts are with those who were impacted by Hurricane Milton.

As Hurricane Milton makes its way toward the west coast of Florida, we are closely monitoring the situation.   Of course, the safety of our dogs, volunteers, and pack members is at the forefront of every decision.   There are no students residing on campus at this time.   We activated our comprehensive hurricane preparedness plan, and we are fully stocked with critical emergency supplies, including plenty of dog food, water, and more.   A skilled crew of employees will take care of our puppies and dogs during the storm. Our facilities have been built to withstand hurricane winds, in accordance with Miami-Dade building codes. We are equipped with generators; our fuel tanks are full, and we are as prepared as we can be to weather this storm.    We hope you and your family (both two-legged and four-legged) stay safe.

We are proud to share an extraordinary moment for Dogs Inc and the veterans we serve. 🇺🇸 🤍   Dogs Inc is receiving a $150,000 donation thanks to retired U.S. Navy Four-Star Admiral William McRaven, recipient of the 2024 Bezos Courage and Civility Award, presented by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez.   This meaningful gift will bring hope and healing to veterans and their families through the loyalty and service of our extraordinary dogs. Admiral McRaven’s dedication to those who’ve served is deeply inspiring, and we are honored to carry this mission forward. Oh hey, Drew! 🐾 Today, we’re giving a big shoutout to our Dogs Inc facility therapy dog at North River Fire District. As we celebrate National Fire Pup Day, we honor dogs like Drew who comfort firefighters in tough times and help teach fire safety in our communities. Let’s hear it for these tail-wagging heroes—and the firefighters they proudly serve!

They lead the way for those with vision loss, comfort children facing unimaginable challenges, and bring healing to veterans searching for hope. Today, we celebrate their unwavering loyalty and the powerful bonds that transform lives forever.

On this Gold Star Mother’s and Family’s Day, we pause to honor the strength and sacrifice of the families who’ve lost loved ones in service to our country.   At Dogs Inc, we’re humbled to see how our incredible Gold Star family dogs bring comfort and healing to these brave families. Through their love, loyalty, and gentle presence, our dogs help lighten the burden of grief and offer peace when it’s needed most.
