“A struggling, single mom, my daughter was shopping with her three small children using the last of her money until payday. The kids were a bit of a handful, but the employee never got upset or made my daughter feel bad, even distracting the kids with a toy. She quickly rang up about $100 in items and my daughter told her to put the rest back because that was all the money she had. The cashier found and applied a $5 off coupon, scanned the other ~$20 worth of items and paid the difference herself. “I asked Nicky about balloons after she greeted me with a bright smile and cheery attitude. It was an extra special set of balloons because it was for my [late] daughter’s 5th birthday. She could see I was visibly upset and turned into a compassionate, understanding and very accommodating lady. With her assistance, the balloon display was amazing and an apt tribute to an amazing, well-loved, and horribly missed little girl.
