Rosslyn is a vibrant and active neighborhood. This weekend our hotels are hosting thousands of runners and spectators for the Marine Corps Marathon happening on Sunday. The finish line is at the Iwo Jima Memorial in Rosslyn. It was great to see all the positive energy and preparation this week. Wishing all the runners best of luck. Several years ago, I had the pleasure of being invited to the Mexican Cultural Institute in Washington D.C. by Adela Almazan Polanco and Enrique Quiroz as the Institute celebrated their most popular annual celebration, “Dia de los Muertos” on November 2nd. Our amazing Executive Chef Matt took us on a journey through some of his new and old favorites as he develops a new tasting menu for our Restaurant at Canopy by #Hilton Harbor Point. Afterwards, we had to find a way to burn off some of those rich, sweet and savory calories so we took a stroll to the #BaltimoreAquarium. The guided tour was amazing.
