About us
We are dormwise: a student-created platform that allows other students to anonymously rate and review their college and university housing experiences. Founded in Cleveland, Ohio, in February 2021, dormwise was created in response to the need for better student housing information. University websites just aren't enough to help you make the best possible decision that you can. Amenities lists and floor plans just don't cut it. How do you know where you want to live if you have never lived there before? We know what it is like to have to move into a new building and be a tad bit disappointed. Maybe the pictures were inaccurate, maybe the amenities sounded great, but they were extremely old. Whatever the case may be, we have created this platform so that all students have the opportunity to voice their housing experiences, and in the process, help one another to make better housing decisions.
