About us

Founded in 2021 by Bill Smith to support small business owners in their mission. Visionary and strategic, Bill is skilled at transforming ideas into action. Bill’s business education started practically from birth. Growing up in Birmingham, Alabama, Bill had a rare glimpse into the inner workings of the family business, Royal Cup Coffee and Tea. When his time came to head up the company, Bill drew upon his education and years of immersive frontline experiences within the company to serve as President and CEO. Over the course of his tenure, he oversaw the company’s strategic rebranding initiative and expansion into new capabilities for sales growth. While Bill remains on the board of Royal Cup, he is primarily focused on helping family business owners and executives achieve meaningful results for their own companies—whether that means navigating a family leadership transition or improving internal systems for smoother operations.

  • Let's talk sustainability for business. Sustainable business practices are nothing new - But many small and family-owned businesses have been slow to prioritize sustainable business practices. To help, here are 5 reasons why you should: ✔️Cost Savings: Sustainable practices often lead to reduced resource consumption, energy efficiency, and waste reduction. This can result in lower operational costs over time as companies find ways to optimize their processes and use resources more efficiently. ✔️Improved Reputation: Companies that demonstrate a commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility tend to have better reputations among customers, investors, and the public. This positive reputation can enhance brand loyalty and attract socially conscious consumers. ✔️Access to Markets and Investors: Many investors and institutional funds prioritize companies that integrate sustainable practices into their operations. By aligning with these principles, businesses can tap into a growing pool of investors and gain access to capital that might otherwise be unavailable. ✔️Employee Engagement: Sustainable practices can attract and retain top talent, particularly among individuals who value corporate social responsibility and ethical business practices. Engaged employees are often more motivated, productive, and loyal to their employers. ✔️Long-Term Resilience: Sustainability involves a long-term perspective on business operations. By considering the environmental and social impacts of decisions, companies can build resilience against future challenges and changes in the business landscape.
