About us

Based in Atlanta, DOUX SOUTH has been producing and marketing our pickled items since 2013. Our all-natural products, all the creation of co-founder Chef Nick Melvin, have become consumer and chef favorites because of their unique flavors and fresh textures. We produce both shelf-stable jars for the center of the store and refrigerated food service versions for specialty grocery and restaurants.

    Doux South has always done things differently. That's just who we are. So, to highlight this, we've decided to deliver something different to the food service market four times next year. Starting in Q1 2024, we will offer a new "Limited Time" item every quarter. These offerings will be new items for Doux South and will bring something fun and flavorful to your kitchen. We want our chef friends to have fresh ideas to work with on a regular basis, providing a simple way to create your own unique LTO. Winter deserves something bright, beautiful, and warm, so we will start next year with our DICED ESCABECHE, a flavorful Mexican-inspired pickled mix that has a place on any menu.
