Public Square update: the public restroom on the Square (attached to REBoL) is out of service until further notice due to a plumbing issue.🚰 We are working to get it fixed and operational again as soon as possible. In the meantime, please utilize other nearby bathroom facilities, such as the public restrooms inside Tower City. The Square is also beginning its winterization mode in advance of #WinterLandCLE and colder weather. This is the splash pad fountain's final week of operation before the ice skating rink takes its place. ⛸

Downtown Cleveland has secured a total of $100,000 in tree grants over the last two years!!! 🎉Most recently, we were awarded $25,000 from the Cleveland Tree Coalition to plant 16 new trees in Public Square. These trees will replace dead trees that have been removed or unhealthy trees at risk of dying. This $100,000 in tree grants came from the Cleveland Tree Coalition (CTC) and Cuyahoga County Healthy Urban Tree Canopy (HUTC). With this money, we have added 50 new trees and are conducting an extensive tree canopy study in commercial corridors and green spaces downtown. 🌳
