Check out this tool to see if your business qualifies for EZ tax credits and then see what else it can do for you.
OEDIT is embarking on its process to redesignate the enterprise zones associated with the Enterprise Zone (EZ) Program, managed by the Business, Funding and Incentives division to encourage development in economically distressed areas of the state. Users can review if their areas are eligible for consideration in the redesignation process by accessing the “Enterprise Zone Designation Tool”. The “Tool” also includes a form on Step 5 that allows the public to provide input on the redesignation process, specifically to add insight on which areas should or should not be included in an EZ and why. Your input will be shared with the local enterprise zone administrator that manages your respective EZ and local governments for their consideration. Visit our website to access the tool, we look forward to your participation. ➡️ https://lnkd.in/giPZ3n6v Enterprise Zone Benefits include: •Businesses are eligible for state income tax credits and sales and use tax exemptions for specific business investments •Local governments and nonprofits can set up contribution projects to achieve economic development goals •Taxpayers who contribute to enterprise zone contribution projects may earn income tax credits
