  • For those seeking expertly crafted bourbon with a rich, local heritage, Irons One Distillery in Huntsville’s Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment is a standout destination. For over 40 years, Jeff Irons, owner and master distiller, has honed his craft, creating small-batch bourbon that stands out in Alabama and beyond. What began as a hobby evolved into Irons One distillery, launched in 2015. Jeff’s approach is a meticulous blend of art and science, producing bourbon with distinctive flavor profiles shaped by a unique aging process in charred oak barrels. Visitors can explore the distillery through guided tours and tastings, learning firsthand about Jeff’s attention to detail and dedication to his craft. Bottles are available for purchase on-site, and Irons One products can also be found in local package stores and restaurants like Purveyor and The Poppy and Parliament. September is Huntsville Music Month!🎶 Organized by the Huntsville Music Office, this month-long celebration is designed to build excitement around all aspects of our music culture, shine a brighter spotlight on our music community, inspire creation, establish new concepts and events, encourage collaborations, and help champion Huntsville’s appeal to musicians and fans through its reputation as a music‑friendly city. One of the highlights of this year’s Huntsville Music Month is the Launchpad Music Festival taking place September 6-8 at Big Spring Park East. The three-day event will feature a stellar lineup including The Beastie Goys, an electrifying Beastie Boys tribute band, alongside talented acts like R&B artist Mechi Rae, Soul Karnival, Carver Commodore, and Huntsville's own Silver Silos. "Launchpad showcases the wealth of talent right here in the Tennessee Valley," Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella said. "The region boasts a deep well of skilled artists, and we’re thrilled to feature some of them on a big stage right in the heart of downtown Huntsville."
