Yesterday, Girl Scout Troop 21478 had an engaging visit to our municipal building to learn about local government and public safety. The troop learned about the role of elected officials, public works, parks & recreation, and the importance of community services. During their visit, they had the opportunity to explore the police department, meet local law enforcement officers, and learn about their vital role in maintaining safety in our community. The girls were especially excited to see a police car up close and learn about the equipment used to protect and serve.

📢 Help Keep Our Water Clean: Pick Up After Your Pets! 🐶💧 Did you know that pet waste is a major pollutant in our stormwater system? When left on the ground, it doesn’t just disappear. Rainwater can wash pet waste into storm drains, which flow directly into our local waterways—polluting the environment and creating health hazards. 🏞️🌊
