In the beginning, every community is intimate. Trust is high. Conversations are grounded and vulnerable. But how does intimacy in a community work when it grows? Gesche and Nicole have scaled their #community while sustaining #intimacy. They’re behind Dreamers & Doers®, which began as a small group of female entrepreneurs supporting each other over brunch. This month, they are celebrating a decade of lifting up and connecting women entrepreneurs and leaders, with thousands of members online! On Remote Daily, I learned from Gesche and Nicole that intimacy comes with 💡 establishing a careful, detailed, thorough vetting process 💡 enabling members to have meaningful interactions with one another, supported by tools such as Circle, Orbiit (acquired by Hivebrite) and Gatheround 💡 offering frequent 1:1 conversations with the community lead – shoutout to Nicole – while keeping boundaries in place. Sometimes, intimacy also comes with imperfection. We met in a real podcast studio in NYC, with dozens of community pros from around the world joining virtually. Minutes before going live my laptop went dark, the microphones lost power, the livestream went rogue and the studio technician started sweating. We ended up zooming in via our phones, improvising, holding the space, supported by the amazing Remote Daily crew (s/o avely, Elizabeth, Eleanor) and our community. I had the pleasure of helping Gesche Haas and the Dreamers & Doers® team celebrate 10 years of D&D this past weekend in New York. It was wonderful to be surrounded by so many amazing and inspiring humans, and to put faces to names after many years of interacting with the community. As Gesche was speaking about her journey, something she said stuck with me: “You don’t have breakthroughs on your good days.” It had me reflecting on my own challenges (even the most difficult ones) and the gifts that followed. And it was also a reminder that next time the hard arrives, surrender into the experience and know the right "after" will be coming. Huge congrats again to Gesche and the D&D team for the amazing community they've created and wonderful work they're doing! 🫶🏻

🌟 Honored and inspired! 🌟 On Saturday, I had the incredible opportunity to join in celebration for the 10th anniversary of Dreamers & Doers® a community that has been uplifting and amplifying women entrepreneurs since its inception. The event was not just a reflection on a decade of success but a testament to the vision of its founder, Gesche Haas. Listening to her share the story of the organization’s origins was a truly moving experience. Gesche opened up about a lot- including how some of her biggest breakthroughs came from the darkest times—working in a tiny studio apartment, often pulling late nights just to build this vision while transitioning from the structured world of corporate finance. Many things she shared resonated deeply with me, and to highlight one of them, was her sharing how a belief that “one plus one can equal 100” when people come together to support each other—a perfect analogy for the power of collaboration that fuels this curated community. Dreamers & Doers is not just about networking; it’s a PR machine, amplifying voices that deserve to be heard, and offering real opportunities through strategic, vetted collaboration. This isn’t just any group—it’s a place where relationships are built on trust, mentorship, and a shared commitment to elevate each other. In the last 10 years, Gesche has created a space where authentic relationships thrive, and in a time when female founders represent less than 3% of venture capital funding, this kind of support is more important than ever, and those who know me know this is a cause near and dear to me. Mentorship and community play a key role in reversing these numbers, and it’s exciting to witness how Dreamers & Doers is paving the way for a more inclusive, diverse entrepreneurial ecosystem. I’m thrilled to not only celebrate this milestone but also to announce that I’ll be diving even deeper with Gesche in a ‘real talk’ interview on The Natanya Experience: Exploring Transformation soon, where we’ll explore her journey, the highs, and the challenges, and how she continues to empower women to dream bigger and do more.
