Bologna Living Lab (LL) is moving forward in exploring new solutions for integrating DRT into the PT service 🚀 SRM – Reti e Mobilità Srl is ready to continue the journey with the Bologna LL, advancing the pilot’s objectives within the DREAM_PACE project: 🎯Integrating DRT planning and governance into the PT system and within the SUMP framework. 🎯Enhancing the coordination and integration of local and regional mobility networks to improve connectivity in rural and peripheral areas, through a co-design process with local stakeholders. 🎯Developing DRT governance within a MaaS logic, from the strategic SUMP level to tendering and Contract of Service. Here's what we are focusing on in the coming meetings: 1️⃣Defining the boundaries within which we will develop the DRT scheme for the Bologna context ("Scenario development"). 2️⃣Involving mobility authorities and operators to design DRT schemes, defining a shared model for integrating DRT into the Contract of Service and contributing to guidelines for its inclusion in planning tools. We are calling on the stakeholders to be part of this challenge! 💡 Question for our DREAM_PACE Tech&Business Community: What are the most critical factors to consider when developing a DRT service that is truly integrated into an existing public transport network?

𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽. Yesterday’s roundtable with our experts sparked valuable exchanges on key challenges and opportunities in sustainable commuting. 🌍 We explored our project’s diverse pilot initiatives through various cross-cutting angles, with a strong focus on: ✅ 𝗦𝘂𝗯-𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 and the need for tailored solutions ✅ 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 for greater impact ✅ 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to enhance accessibility and efficiency ✅ 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 to drive long-term, systemic change ✅ Addressing the 𝘀𝘆𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 and shifting towards more sustainable alternatives ✅ 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 as a key tool for peer learning and continuous improvement ✅ 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 & 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀—helping people understand the benefits of reducing car use A huge thank you to all participants for their contributions—your insights are shaping the future of mobility! Mobilità condivisa e servizi a chiamata... a tutto motore! Autoguidovie Spa is ready to start testing a set of digital and operational solutions to enhance the existing DRT services and facilitate their integration in the local public transport network. In particular: 1️⃣ the timetables of existing bus lines will highlight the interchanges at DRT stops, and vice versa on the Miobus app (routing POIs); 2️⃣ it will be possible to book DRT services in combination with traditional services; 3️⃣ The Miobus app will be able to show Points of interest near the DRT stops (public services, touristic attractions, cycling routes, etc.); 4️⃣ Digital totems will be tested at bus stops and in public spaces, in order to provide information on the incoming vehicles and allow booking for the service.
