Nuclear Electric Power Generation

We are reinventing nuclear

About us

Dual Fluid energy is low-emission and requires very little space or resources. We are creating an inherently safe nuclear reactor that • provides electricity at a lower cost than fossil fuel power plants, • turns nuclear waste into electricity, • produces clean, low-cost hydrogen and synthetic fuels. Our patented, disruptive design will provide low-cost energy in abundance. For the very first time, even emerging markets could have a clean, cheap and reliable alternative to fossil fuels. This makes sustainable development truly possible.

  • Looking back with gratitude and joy: 2024 has been a successful and busy year for Dual Fluid. 🚀 We have completed key calculations and studies - important milestones on the way to building our demonstration reactor in Rwanda. Our contact with the Rwandan authorities is closer than ever, and the first licenses are already being issued. Our recent successes are a great encouragement to continue on our path. As our team has grown, we have adapted our management structure to the changing needs of the project. We are proud to have brought new top talent on board. Their expertise, combined with the precision of German engineering, has given our company a major boost. We have also expanded our laboratory in Berlin, an important step in the development of our technology. The new facilities enable more sophisticated testing and the development of innovative manufacturing methods - directly supporting the design of the reactor and laying the foundations for its future scale-up. Contracts have also been signed with highly specialized service providers to complement our own work. Our recent achievements in the investment round underline the financial market's confidence in our potential. It motivates us to accelerate the realization of our vision of a completely new type of nuclear fission. We are currently in discussions with several major international investors, and a positive outcome will provide the basis for even greater momentum. 2024 has been our best year yet. We look forward to what we will achieve in the coming months - and to soon revolutionize the world of power generation. Now we wish you a perfect holiday and festive Season and all the best for 2025. 🎁 May clean and abundant energy be with you! #cleanenergy #nuclearinnovation

We're delighted to be attending the Europe Nuclear Energy & SMR Conference (ENES) in Prague! ⚛️ Our Head of Operations Dr. Claire Schaffnit Chatterjee is proudly representing our company. One of the main topics of the conference is the advancement of Small Modular Reactor (SMR) deployment. Leaders discussed Europe's progress in SMR technology, highlighting the importance of international cooperation to scale up deployment, while sharing insights on regulatory progress to support rapid integration. The conference also presented new financing strategies tailored to SMR projects to support global deployment. All of this - and of course networking with key industry players - is relevant and very important for our project. SMR technologies are here to stay and will play a key role in the energy supply of the future. We're looking forward to making a difference in this global trend. #cleanenergy #SMR

👉 Paving the way for a bright energy future: We are moving forward with Rwanda on our demonstration reactor project. This week we welcomed Dr Lassina Zerbo, head of the Rwandan Atomic Energy Authority and personal advisor to Rwandan President Paul Kagame, to our Berlin office. In intensive discussions with our team - President Dr Armin Huke, CEO Dr Götz Ruprecht, and Chairman Dr Peter Kürpick - the next steps for the construction of the planned demonstration reactor in Rwanda were finalized. This joint project has been progressing steadily since the signing of our contract between Dual Fluid and Rwanda. The discussions focused on coordinating the technical and logistical details for the upcoming construction of the demonstration reactor in the heart of Africa. While Dual Fluid contributes innovation and expertise, Rwanda provides the optimal framework for the successful realization of this milestone. The dinner that followed further strengthened the trust and strategic partnership between Dual Fluid and Rwanda. We are proud of this close cooperation and look forward to writing a new chapter in the future of energy with our demonstration reactor in Rwanda soon. #cleanenergy #nuclearinnovation

  • The world's leading technology companies are turning to nuclear power, reversing the path taken by many Western governments. This trend has been noticed even by the traditionally anti-nuclear media in Germany. Götz Ruprecht, CEO of Dual Fluid, on Dual Fluid technology, in the Tagesspiegel: "We need far less material (than conventional reactors and other new concepts) and can therefore achieve very low costs". ⬇ Link below in comments. Of course, new concepts need a chance to prove their feasibility and economic viability. But while Germany is still betting on 100% renewables, creating ever larger multi-billion dollar budgets, the rest of the world is moving ahead and gaining a lead that will be very difficult to catch up with. Next year will be exciting, as Germans - the majority of whom want to return to nuclear power - elect a new government. The conservative CDU, which under Angela Merkel sealed the nuclear phase-out and is certain to be part of the next government, wants to return to nuclear power. Whether this is just lip service remains to be seen.

One of the most exciting Generation 4 reactor concepts is the Molten Salt Reactor (MSR). The German-Canadian company Dual Fluid will build a test facility by 2026, which combines techniques from Molten Salt Reactors and Liquid Metal Cooled Reactors. Their innovative approach promises enhanced safety and efficiency. At the The binding.energy Conference, Dr. Götz Rupprecht, CEO of Dual Fluid, will share insights into this groundbreaking technology and its potential to transform the nuclear energy landscape. 📅 February 19-20, 2025 📍 Eurogress, Aachen 🔗 You can find the link to the program and registration in the comments

  • We are thrilled to attend and sponsor the upcoming Africa Nuclear Business Platform conference in Ghana this May. Meet our colleague Björn Peters who will be speaking at the conference. Africa matters because it is the key continent for the future of nuclear technology. Here´s why: ➡️It has a huge need for electrification. ➡️Clean and reliable energy is essential for the well-being of individuals and the development of industry. ➡️Only nuclear power can meet Africa's rapidly growing energy needs in an environmentally and socially responsible way. Africa deserves to have the best of all energy sources - nuclear - as soon as possible. We're proud and eager to play our part.
