Today, the Duro-Last® Saginaw team gathered to celebrate the legendary career of Mitch Guettler, longtime director of quality assurance, as he prepares to retire on Friday. Mitch joined Duro-Last in 1987 as quality assurance inspector number 36, often spending weeks on the road, training and inspecting installations with our valued contractors. Throughout his career, he’s helped to develop and maintain Duro-Last’s exceptional installation standards while mentoring contractors to achieve the best results. His knack for balancing strict quality guidelines with motivating and coaching has left a lasting legacy on the industry — and perhaps a few stories worth hearing around a campfire! As Mitch prepares to turn in his tack claw for his next adventure in search of that elusive trophy buck, we thank him for his years of service. His incredible contributions to Duro-Last, dedication to quality and steadfast leadership have left a lasting mark. Happy retirement Mitch, you will be missed!
