We are delighted to present the latest edition of our newsletter, Vital Signs. In this edition, we share recent health outcomes from our customer cohort in Satara, Maharashtra, where we looked at NEEM subscribers enrolled between January 2023 and March 2024 and changes in their health status. We also delve into the challenge of adherence, a topic we have been contemplating deeply. Addressing medication non-adherence in hypertension and diabetes care is essential. The NEEM model tackles these issues by improving access and affordability, and our latest plans aim to enhance this further. Additionally, we bring you experiences from the field and highlight a paper on chronic pain management that we found particularly interesting. We hope to integrate insights from this research into our NEEM service moving forward. Dvara Health Finance marked a key milestone with the opening of our new regional office in Vaduj, Satara District, Maharashtra, this March 2024. Our Vaduj office represents a significant step in bringing cost-effective #healthcare services directly to our community and broadening the reach of our #NEEM program to nearby areas such as Khatav, Mann, Vita, Atpadi, Palus, and Warananagar. Since its start in August 2022 in the Mann Taluka area, the NEEM initiative has touched the lives of around 5,000 individuals, making a notable difference in managing #diabetes and #hypertension. These efforts are in response to the latest health statistics from the National Family Health Survey, which highlight the urgent need for better healthcare access in Satara, where a substantial portion of the population battles with hypertension. The Vaduj office is a key development in reaching out to more communities, bringing them under the umbrella of our NEEM initiative, which is designed to reduce both health and financial burdens on families.
