Barb was joined by Michelle Boyle, Lisa Chamness, Karen Evander, Tony Phan, and Zsa-shane' Smith, representing the Dwyer Workforce Development team. Last week's Ink + Numbers Networking, by smlc Back to Work event at Price Modern was an amazing experience! Our CEO, Barb Clapp, had the honor of speaking as a panelist, alongside the inspiring Annette Walter and Brittany Wight. They each shared their unique career journeys, and it was truly enlightening to hear their stories. We were so proud to be the event’s beneficiary, and it was great to see our team members, Karen Evander and Michelle Boyle, there representing DWD. The evening was filled with inspiring conversations, new connections, and, of course, some delicious refreshments. Thank you to Ink & Numbers for hosting such a fantastic event and to everyone who joined us. We are excited to join United Way Suncoast in supporting Scholars as they train to become CNAs and launch their healthcare career journey. This is the first time that DWD has partnered with a local United Way to deliver direct services to the community. Additionally, this first Scholar cohort marks DWD’s debut in the Tampa area. It is an honor to join United Way Suncoast as we work together to serve the Scholars in a holistic way, ensuring they are successful in their soon-to-be roles as CNAs, providing extraordinary care to older adults in the community. Congratulations to all the Scholars who graduated from United Way on 9/13—we’re proud of your hard work and dedication!
