Congratulations to Dynamo member Ndustrial on receiving the first grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to support the Cold Chain's "Move to -15C," an industry-wide coalition pushing for more intelligent global regulations around food storage temperatures. This grant will help Ndustrial develop an AI-based thermal model aimed at enhancing food safety in refrigerated facilities while reducing energy costs. This model builds on Ndustrial’s AI-powered process to shift energy usage timing, helping combat food price inflation and optimize cost savings. By predicting changes in product temperature, the model enables more precise control, which is crucial for managing curtailment events. This could potentially unlock $1.2 trillion in energy cost savings, benefiting over 60,000 refrigerated facilities in the U.S. alone.  Dynamo is consistently impressed by the work of our members. What do you do with carbon after you've captured it? Dynamo's newest member, Infinium, asked the same question and found a groundbreaking answer. Infinium produces ultra-low carbon electrofuels (eFuels) created using waste CO₂ and green hydrogen from renewable energy. These eFuels not only repurpose the CO₂ that would otherwise be released into the atmosphere but also significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions compared to traditional petroleum-based fuels and are a drop-in solution for existing combustion engines and plastics manufacturing.
