********************************************************************************* A few weeks ago we had a great time with our closest customers and partners who attended our new building opening ceremony. After 40 years spent in Valley of Maurienne, the cradle of primary aluminium production, our team moved its offices to Saint Pierre d’Albigny, in Combe de Savoie area. We now have a dedicated showroom to introduce our product and Dynamp range. DynAmp is based in Grove City (Ohio, USA), and is the international leader for DC measuring systems. We have been Dynamp’s exclusive distributor for France since 2016, and we are now its European Technical Centre. This is why, SEREM will get a LKCO-Optical system from Dynamp range in 2025. This sophisticated tool measures voltage up to 500kA with 0.1% accuracy. For sure, Great ideas and services require bigger spaces! 😉 💪🏻 Thank you for attending!

🙌 Giving Back to Our Community 🙌 As DynAmp continues to expand we want to show our gratitude and appreciation to the community we surround. DynAmp strives to leave a positive impact not only on our customers and employees but also on the community. The Ronald McDonald House is a program that relieves families with sick children of some financial burden. This allows those families to focus on their children while going through difficulties. On Thursday, a group of employees went to volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House, where they worked hard to cook and prepare meals for these families. We are delighted to have such great employees who care not only about the company's success but also our community!

DynAmp serves a variety of industries, most of which rely on the process of electrolysis. One of the most important is the Chlor-Alkali industry. Chlorine is widely used in many chemical industry applications. DynAmp has provided mission-critical measurement systems to the Chlor-Alkali industry since the 1960s. This Chlor-Alkali process begins by converting AC to DC using rectifiers. Monitoring, controlling, and balancing the electrical current flowing through the rectifier is critical to sustaining the reliability and efficiency of the rectifiers, as well as the entire process. DynAmp provides several systems to support this. The Rectifier Condition and Evaluation Monitoring System (RCEM) monitors each diode within the rectifier. DynAmp has provided many portable RCEMs worldwide that are used as a preventive maintenance tool to ensure the performance and reliability of the rectifier for the Chlor-Alkali process. The rectifier busbar is connected to the electrolyzer. (Although the process is similar, the current required for membrane cell electrolysis is much lower than those used in the past or other industries e.g. aluminum). DynAmp's LKAT2 is the most cost-effective solution for current measurement in the Chlor-Alkali process. DynAmp has installed more than 5,000 of these systems worldwide.

For over 60 years DynAmp has served multiple continuous processes and electrolytic industries, in the coming weeks we will be highlighting some of these industries. Aluminum industry: DynAmp products serve a mission-critical role. Starting with rectifiers that convert AC to DC power. For instance, our Rectifier Condition and Evaluation Monitoring System (RCEM) monitors the current through the diodes in the rectifier, providing a crucial preventative maintenance tool. The rectifier connects to busbars that lead to the Aluminum potline where current efficiency, control, and protection are vital. Our LKAT2 system is ideally suited for this role, thanks to its customizable trip points that detect over/reverse currents. The LKAT2 can be used on AC and DC making it an exceptional addition to this part of the process. The rectifier output busbars merge to become a totalized busbar (collector bus), which provides total line current to the potline for production. The line current can be up to 600kA. Given the immense power flowing through the collector bus, the LKCO is the optimal choice for the current measurement. The LKCO can accurately read currents exceeding 600,000 Amps at 0.1% accuracy, making it an excellent tool for determining process efficiency and decision-making.

Product Showcase: RCEM⚡ The RCEM (Rectifier Condition and Evaluation Monitoring System), developed by DynAmp, is designed to check rectifier health and current balance. The RCEM plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and performance of the rectifiers and semiconductors. The RCEM consists of the following primary components and sub-assemblies: -Flexible/non-contact sensors: Installed at each semiconductor in the rectifier -The DAU: This includes the required data acquisition hardware and firmware, and interconnecting cables for up to 240 channels. -PC: Pre-configured PC with required communication and analysis tools If you are interested in how DynAmp’s products can help improve high-current applications, reach out using the email listed below to learn more!

The LKCO is DynAmp’s most intricate product, comprised of three main components: the measurement head, the compensation module, and the metering unit. This system provides users with crucial data on the current flowing through their busbars, giving the users protection and control over their process.   This closed-looped system operates by utilizing proprietary technology to measure the phase shift of the fiberoptic cable created by the magnetic field. This patented technology also makes the LKCO resistant to harsh environmental factors that may impact measurement; allowing the LKCO to be more resilient and long-lasting compared to competitive products.   If interested in how DynAmp products can help improve high-current applications, reach out using the email listed below to learn more!

The LKAT2 is one of DynAmp’s most popular products, designed to provide users with accurate information about the current flowing through their busbars. This device ensures precise measurement, control, and protection of electrolytic processes. Using Hall effect sensors, the LKAT2 can accurately measure the magnetic field around the conductor. The sensors send signals to the metering unit, which are then converted to analog outputs proportional to the current. This product has applications in industries such as Aluminum, Chlorine, Hydrogen, and many others that require high current in their processes. One of the new employees DynAmp would like to recognize is Bill Trinh! Bill holds a wide range of responsibilities as he helps support various departments performing as a liaison to improve DynAmps communication with the customer. He also works on creating designs for custom parts requested by the customer. When asked how he felt about working here at DynAmp he said, “Though only having been working with DynAmp for 4 months, I've already learned so much from the talented members of this community. The best accomplishment so far is understanding the art of external communication with multiple customers, since a great employee not only knows how to communicate and collaborate with members of different departments, but also exchange information and aid our customers. With that understanding, I'm able to introduce myself and build my professional connections.”
