Da er to innholdsrikt seminardager på Hitra med fokus på Nye logistikkmuligheter med Hitra Kysthavn historie. Seminaret var et felles arrangement mellom EU-prosjektet AEGIS (https://lnkd.in/dvDVE6ea), NHO Transport og logistikk, og Blått kompetansesenter. Seminaret startet med en omvisning hos BEWI, som viste oss produksjon av isoporkasser brukt til transport av laks. Vi lærte her hva 53 sekunder betyr i produksjonssammenheng😀 Vi fikk også en tur innom Hitra Kysthavna hvor vi fikk se den massive utbyggingen som pågår, som var imponerende Deretter startet vi selve seminaret hvor tema var: Digitalisering, Sjøtransport og Havna som knutepunkt, Samferdsel, Infrastruktur og Miljø, samt veien videre for å lykkes med Hitra Kysthavn som knutepunkt. Vi takker for to innholdsrike dager, for gode innlegg, og ikke minst gode diskusjoner underveis. Takk til dere alle som bistod oss underveis👍 SINTEF Ocean; SINTEF Community; Nor Lines AS; Hitra kommune; Ocean Autonomy Cluster; Trøndelag fylkeskommune; Blått Kompetansesenter AS; JAS Worldwide; Lerøy Seafood Group ASA; Kystbudet; Trondheim Havn IKS; Eimskip; North Sea Container Line; Nutrimar; FRØYA KOMMUNE; HITRA NÆRINGSFORENING; Torcargo; Statens vegvesen - Norwegian Public Roads Administration; VIREON; DriiveMe; SalMar; BEWI Group; JAS Worldwide; NHO Logistikk og Transport / Norwegian Logistics and Freight Association;

Maritime Transportation
Dynamic Navigation and Port call Optimisation in Real Time
About us
DYNAPORT is an EU-funded innovation project under the Call HORIZON-CL5-2023-D5-01-13. The project will run from 2024 to 2026. DYNAPORT is dedicated to reduce emissions from shipping by improving voyage and port call efficiency. The project will: - develop new optimisation and coordination tools for ports and ships. - build on information sharing through internationally accepted protocol standards and communication systems to ensure the uptake of DYNAPORT’s solutions internationally. - improve port efficiency as well as port approach safety, by integrating the port VTS in arrival and departure planning and execution. #dynaport #dynaportproject

We kicked off the project's second year with a productive consortium meeting in sunny Barcelona last week! 🚢 ⚓️ The project partners met over three days to plan the upcoming demonstrations. Moving forward in the project, we will use these real-life demonstrations to showcase precise real-time communication between ships and ports to enable Just-In-Time arrivals. Stay tuned! 💡 Thank you to project partner Port de Barcelona for hosting us and for us a wonderful waterborne tour of the port! A special thanks to Santiago Garcia-Milà for his inspirational welcoming speech, and to the organising team Cristina Gil Bonnemaison, Javier Garrido Salsas, ESTEFANIA SANLES MAREQUE, Eva Martí Agràs. 👏 Hamburg University of Technology | Simula Research Laboratory | FixLog Consulting | Kongsberg Norcontrol | Kongsberg Discovery | Space Norway | NAVTOR | North Sea Container Line | Grieg Star | Latsco Marine Management | Port of Aalborg | The Port of Gothenburg | APS - Administração dos Portos de Sines e do Algarve, S.A. | Port of Rotterdam | Harwich Haven Authority | ITS Norway | SINTEF Ocean | Norwegian Coastal Administration - Kystverket The DYNAPORT project is funded by The European Union.

🚢 Next week, we will attend the Waterborne Days in Brussels. An excellent opportunity to learn more about our project! 🌊 In particular, how DYNAPORT’s innovative solutions will enable Just-In-Time arrivals and port call optimisation. Together with the MISSION Project, we are combating the energy and resource-exhaustive "Hurry-up-and-Wait" regime in favour of real-time coordination between ships and ports. Don't miss the chance to see how the two sister projects align efforts to make maritime transport more efficient, safe, and sustainable! 🌱 🗓️ 5 February ⏰ 10:00 - 11:00 📍 Hotel Sofitel Brussels Europe, Simone Veil Room 👉 More information about Waterborne Days here: https://lnkd.in/g3-nKDnm 🎬 Watch the video below for a brief overview of how DYNAPORT will develop and demonstrate optimisation and coordination solutions for ports and ships to support voyage and port call optimisation. 🚢 Collaboration with partner projects is a crucial step in the pursuit of realising the Just In Time arrival concept on a global scale! 🌊 The DYNAPORT project consortium co-hosted a roundtable workshop together with the MISSION Project this week - its sister project. Constructive discussions made the project’s common pathway more evident, with concrete common activities and collaborative action points being set. The workshop also kicked off the collaboration between the two sister projects and the SEAMLESS Project. Thank you to participants from all three projects for making the discussions fruitful and multifaceted. A special thanks to the international associated partners Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Singapore Maritime Institute (SMI), and Korea Maritime & Ocean University, who were invited to share their valuable insights. MISSION Project and DYNAPORT project will host a table-top session on Just-in-Time Arrival, on Oct. 31st in Trondheim Norway, the day after the #MTEC/ICMASS2024 conference https://lnkd.in/dJm8jyqu This will be an informal discussion-based session building on a concrete operational scenario. An explicit focus will be on the ship-port interface with respect to realizing Just-In-Time (JIT) arrival and port call efficiency. Well-documented challenges and bottlenecks will be further explored through multi-stakeholder interaction, for identifying possible collaborative solutions. Gathering of key actors covering large parts of the maritime transport value chain (e.g. ship owners, ports, terminal operators, cargo owners, pilots, VTS, research, ship agents, technology and service providers, authorities, etc.), the session also aims to gain a deeper insight into key processes, involved actors and their responsibilities.
