We had the privilege of hosting 55 students from local universities on our jobsite as part of the Ohio Contractors Association's annual Contractor for a Day Program! The students visited our MLK Bridge project in Toledo, where our project management team shared insights about the new multi-use path we're constructing over the river. It’s exciting to see the future generation of the industry engaged and learning about the industry!

Our engineers have been out in the field testing our newest drone, the DJI Mavic 3E, and we’re excited to see the impressive results. Weighing just 2 lbs. and reaching speeds up to 47 mph, this drone allows us to efficiently survey up to 125 acres in just 30 minutes on a single battery charge. By reducing on-field time for topographical and quality surveys, we’ve reduced what used to take days—sometimes even a week's worth of work—to just hours. This technology has transformed how we approach projects, enhancing precision and efficiency.

We’ve had the pleasure of having Logan Bryan as one of our summer interns. His dedication, work ethic, and willingness to learn made a real impact during his time with us. Logan tackled challenges head-on and became an integral part of the project team. As Logan heads back to Ohio Northern University to continue his civil engineering studies, we’re excited to see the path his career will take. Thank you to our team for their guidance and support and to Logan for his contributions. We know his future is bright! As my summer internship at E.S. Wagner Co comes to a close, I want to take a moment to look back on this incredible experience. I had the opportunity to work as a Project Engineer intern on the Stellantis Battery Plant, in Kokomo Indiana, one of the most exciting projects in the area. Throughout the summer, I gained valuable hands-on experience, working with Trimble GPS Rover and oversee other operations. Working closely with a talented team, I was able to contribute to the construction process and see how large-scale projects come together. A huge thank you to the entire E.S. Wagner team for their guidance and support. I'm eager to take the skills and knowledge I've gained back to the classroom for my Sophomore year at ONU as I continue my journey in Civil Engineering.
