I've been on many details where screening and blocking was used on a daily basis, not to many in the US, if you're blocking or screening as a measure on your details in the US you better know what your doing and have some sort of LE deconfliction, not to mention all the proper licensing. These maneuvers can escalate quickly pending tempers and driver emotional IQ. People are not paying attention. In vehicle formations, screen right and block right are two different maneuvers used for protective positioning: Screen Right: In this maneuver, the security vehicle moves to the right to create a physical barrier between the VIP's vehicle and potential threats approaching from that side. The goal is to provide coverage while keeping the convoy moving smoothly. Block Right: Here, the security vehicle actively moves to the right to intercept or "block" incoming vehicles or threats, sometimes even stopping or slowing down to physically prevent others from approaching the VIP’s vehicle from the right side. Both maneuvers require precision and coordination but serve different functions—screening provides a buffer, while blocking is a more direct, defensive action to stop potential threats. #ep #executiveprotection #securitydriver
