ECIC CDA® Cohort Spotlight 🌟 Coach Eugenia’s cohort is actively engaging with CDA® Competency Standards II and III—focusing on strategies to advance physical and intellectual competence, as well as supporting social and emotional development through positive guidance. ECIC CDA® Comprehensive Scholars collaborate in small groups to discuss key concepts, then reconvene to share their insights and approaches. This dynamic learning environment fosters teamwork and equips ECE educators with practical skills to apply in their classrooms.

Did you know that earning your CDA® credential can qualify you for up to 12 Credits for Prior Learning (CPL) towards an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Delaware? Last week, ECIC’s Executive Director, Dr. Kimberly Krzanowski, and Initiatives Officer, Dr. Elizabeth Kelleher, joined industry leaders Tiffany Kloida from Wisconsin and Mary Harrill from NAEYC at the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Annual Conference to discuss the significant impact of CPL in advancing career pathways for early childhood educators.

We were thrilled to surprise and recognize two recent ECIC scholarship graduates: Christina Daisey, who earned her Bachelor’s in Human Services - Early Childhood Education from Springfield College, and Nicole Mumford, who completed her Bachelor’s in Education Studies - Early Childhood Education at Wilmington University.
