#research position opening! 📚 💻 💡 The Arizona Institute for Resilience is hiring a Research Evaluation Specialist. This position will help develop an evaluation framework and set of indicators to document and assess the effectiveness of climate change adaptation strategies in Arizona and New Mexico, using qualitative research methods and a community-based approach. The position will also provide evaluation support for the Climate Assessment for the Southwest program, a NOAA Climate Assessment Program. The “Building Hydro-Local Community Through Music, Art & Watershed Science” project is looking for UofA student interns at $18/hr! 🌊 🎶 This exciting project is focused on advancing watershed narratives by combining science, music, and watershed stewardship via partnerships between the U of A School of Music, Arizona Institute for Resilience and Watershed Management Group.   The student intern will play an instrumental role in brainstorming, developing, and engaging in outreach for the Flow365 watershed monitoring program and several performance events across the region, including Las Cienegas National Conservation Area, local high schools, Linda Rondstadt Music Hall, and the WMG Living Lab & Learning Center in midtown Tucson.   Position Start Date and End Date: September 2024 – May 2025.
