NOW PLAYING: “Flight Risk” (rated R), released by Lionsgate and directed by Mel Gibson. A U.S. marshal (Michelle Dockery) is tasked with transporting a fugitive (Topher Grace) to trial in Anchorage, Alaska by plane. As they cross the wilderness, tensions soar and trust is tested, as not everyone onboard is who they seem, including the pilot (Mark Wahlberg). East West Bank provided production financing, depository account services in the form of production accounts, and FX services on behalf of our client Hammerstone Studios. As we are head into a new month and new stages of supporting those impacted by the wildfires, funding and volunteer commitments are critical. Recently, East West Bank made a pledge of $100,000 to support LA Y centers in Pasadena-Sierra Madre, Collins & Katz, and the YMCA of Glendale. Additionally, East West Bank has pledged to support ongoing recovery efforts by engaging in volunteer activities alongside partner organizations in the months ahead. "The YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles is incredibly grateful for East West Bank's generosity and commitment to supporting our communities as they navigate the aftermath of these terrible fires," says YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles President and CEO, Victor Dominguez. "This support allows the LA Y to continue to provide free childcare, facility access, and extended hours of resources and support for those impacted."
