EBI has some amazing and talented employees, so we want to shine a spotlight on them! Read what Dante Legaspi has to say about his work and EBI culture. 1. What is your name and your job title/role? Dante Legaspi Equipment Logistics Manager 2. What does your job title/role entail? Coordinating the return and issuance of IT equipment, tracking the lifecycle of IT equipment, and managing the Equipment Logistics mailbox. I am the middleman between personnel and the IT Deskside team. 3. How many years have you worked in this type of role? Over a year now. 4. What is the most enjoyable part of performing this role? The ability to help people through this stressful part of their onboarding/offboarding process. 5. How do you believe that your role has positively impacted your client contract as well as EBI? I believe that my role has helped create stability and provide more visibility in my client contract. There was a lot that needed untangling when I first got onto the project, and this has helped me find ways to create more organization and structure, both in my role and in some of the things I do at EBI. 6. What is your favorite thing about working for EBI? I have a lot of freedom to find and solve problems. That comes from the trust EBI leadership puts in their employees. If I see something that can or should be changed, I can bring it up without second guessing myself. 7. What would you tell a hew hire on their first day? EBI puts a lot of trust on its employees to do a good job, and to reach out when they need something. That independence can be intimidating at first, but it gives you a lot of opportunities to grow and expand your skillset, build confidence, and autonomy. 8. What are the most important things you’ve learned while working at EBI? You will always have to be flexible in your roles. No matter what your title says, everyone has to learn how to do things outside of that if they want to excel. You should focus on growth and development rather than sticking to one thing. 9. What skills have you developed the most? Developing a growth mindset rather than focusing on a static one. 10. What sets EBI apart from other employers you have had? The culture. The leadership and the other employees trust everyone to do a good job, and don’t micromanage you. You have a lot of flexibility to get things done.
