Oregonians, please note: Measure 118 might sound promising, but it could have significant negative consequences. By imposing a 3% tax on businesses with over $25 million in sales, we risk raising prices for everyday goods, threatening local jobs, and creating uncertainty for Oregon’s economy. Consumers and small businesses would likely face higher costs.

As we prepare to cast our votes in November, please take a moment to learn about Oregon's Measure 118 and the harm it would do to our economy, businesses, and consumers. It would become the largest tax increase in state history, which would adversely impact all Oregonians at a time of rising costs, as we've seen in our grocery stores. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ron Harvell last night 9/19/2024. Ron was Vice President of Operations for EC and had been with us since 2017. Many of the operational programs we practice as a company today were championed by Ron. His pursuit of excellence was only outshined by his spirit, his smile, and his allegiance to the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Ron chose to make each day a good day. Our thoughts are with Ron’s wife, Brandy and mother, Joann who have been at his side. Please send your condolences to the family at Fisher Funeral Home, link below.  https://lnkd.in/g8fjW5yx
