🌱 This week, the ECOLOOP project team came together in Valencia for our second General Meeting, marking a significant milestone one year after the project's launch. Hosted by the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), this meeting was pivotal for advancing our objectives and reinforcing our commitment to optimizing the combination of renewable energy sources in rural areas. The event kicked off with the Deployment and Demonstration activities, followed by a visit to Finca Sinyent, one of our pilot fields. Managed by our partner AVA-ASAJA (Associació Valenciana d'Agricultors), Finca Sinyent plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between research and practice by transferring innovative agricultural techniques to local Valencian farmers. In addition to the field visit, UPV showcased some of its key studies conducted in its greenhouses. During our sessions, we explored several critical topics, including advancing renewable-based agricultural protocols and decision support tools for farmers and foresters, enhancing stakeholder engagement processes, implementing living labs to foster innovation, and defining effective communication strategies to disseminate our findings. Thank you all for your work! 🔗 https://lnkd.in/e8zyJJDY #RuralAreas #HorizonEU #EUbioenergy #biogas #RuralEnergy #CircularEconomy #EnergyCommunities #Innovation #renewableenergy #soilhealth #AgriPV #agriculture #forestry ETRA, INDEREN (Ingeniería y desarrollos renovables), Laboratory of Energy Policy (UL), AVA-ASAJA (Associació Valenciana d'Agricultors), Albena Resort, Bulgaria, Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Genia Bioenergy, IRI UL - Institute for Innovation and Development of University of Ljubljana, Estonian University of Life Sciences, Fibenol, Fertinagro Biotech, Trakia University-Stara Zagora, Kmetijski inštitut Slovenije, Kolektor sETup.
