The ECOMPEX career position supports the following: Providing design services to rework, rehab, and modernize electrical distribution within a building facility; replace/expand exterior distribution systems within a Coast Guard installation; load sizing for emergency generator installations, design pier shore-tie power systems for connection to ship-board power systems; scope/design fire alarm detection systems; scope/design access and intrusion detection systems and troubleshoot electrical systems. Preparing drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, and other documents, when required, to support complex construction projects on sites with diverse climatic, geographical, and environmental conditions.
