I am excited about the Omicron Delta Epsilon mentorship program! Headquarters sent us an email about it recently and I wanted to follow up to encourage your participation. Omicron Delta Epsilon has partnered with Ambition in Motion to help us implement the mentorship program to make sure participants are matched with their ideal mentor (an alumni of Omicron Delta Epsilon) and are provided a structure that has proven to help students achieve their professional goals. Participation in the program is a low time commitment that can be really rewarding (roughly 12 hours total from September to December). Mentorship program requirements: - Three 30-minute conversations with your mentor spread out over the course of the semester (in-person, phone call, or video chat) - Attend 4 Ambition in Motion workshops - Complete end-of-semester feedback assessment The program lasts for one semester (September to December) and participation in the program is really easy. First, complete the student application, make a $50 deposit (which is fully refunded upon successful completion of the program at the end of the semester), and then get matched with your mentor shortly after the September 24th sign-up deadline. Scholarships are available for students who apply. The sign-up deadline is September 24, 2024, but spaces are limited based on the number of mentors who sign up, and it is a first-come, first-served process. The time commitment for the program is about 1 hour per week. If you are interested in learning more about the program, please click the link below.
